Boo! Happy Halloween!

Hey y'all! Happy Friday and Happy Halloween!!! :)

Today, I have a couple ghostly cards to share with you! I saw the current Casology challenge and decided to give it a go! ;)

At first, I had one little ghost. Then thought, that little ghost needs a big ghost. So, then there were two.

So, what does one do when they have no ghost stamps?!...Some good thinking! lol (not sure if that's suppose be a joke or not?...ha!) Anyhow, I grabbed a punch I had and used it for the bottom of my ghosts. Then did some hand cutting for the shape. After I added a couple 'nailheads' (is that the name for those?...) for the eyes and hopefully, you can see around the eyes a hint of some shimmer?...To finish things off, I used some little Halloween stamps, and placed them on the ghosts. So, what do you think?!...

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy all the festivities today/tonight! :)

Hello there

Hey y'all! This is my second post of the day! If you're looking for my Merry Monday post, please scroll down.

Today, is a brand new challenge at Poppy Sketches! Check it out. :)

So, here's my take.

I pretty much kept to the sketch. The only thing I really changed (just a tiny bit) was instead of having the top and bottom pieces of paper even, I chose to have the top piece of paper just 'peeking out'.

Be sure to swing on over to Poppy Sketches and see all the DT creations! Hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Remember when...

Hey y'all! Happy Monday! Hope you're off to a great start of the week?!!...

Remember when I was Guesting at Merry Monday?...Well, for the last challenge we celebrated (with a surprise) Lisa's birthday! (which, in return I shared a card I made for her.) So, today I get to share my card I originally made for the Merry Monday challenge! :)

Here's my take!

I kept things nice and clean. Decided to go with a white base and a little embossing on my panel, along with a die. And I was gonna stamp on a sentiment, but then chose to use an SRM sticker. So, what you think?!...

Be sure to swing on over to Merry Monday to see all the DT creations and join in on the fun! Hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day! And I'll be back shortly with another post! ;)

My heart beats for you

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! Hope all is well?!...

Today, is a brand new challenge at CAS on Sunday! And another fun one it is...we're all about 'one layer' cards this time! :)

Here's my card.

Nice and simple, yeah?...Hopefully, you can somewhat see the 'faint' background I did around the heart? (I used some distress ink and just lightly swirled it around) After doing my background, I stamped my 'heart note' on, making sure the 'heart' was over my background. Once done, I added my sentiment. Which I chose to run it downward, next to the note. So, what you think?!...

Be sure to swing on over to CAS on Sunday and see all the DT creations! And if you choose to join us, the winner for this challenge will be our Guest Designer for the next challenge!...How fun is that?!...Hope to see you there! :)

One card, one challenge

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! It's been a minute, since I've popped in! As some of you already know, I had caught the flu. :( Absolutely, no fun at all! I was in bed for about 2-3 days straight. Everything from body aches to fever to having no taste, I had it all. I haven't had the flu in ages, so I completely forgot how bad it is! Believe me when I say, it's something you don't wanna encounter. Anyhow, I am getting much better! I am up and going more, though still taking it a little easy. (I would hate to have a relapse of anything.)

Okay, so now on to my card. When I saw the current Waffle Flower Challenge and saw 'white space'...you knew, I had to play along! (There's also an inspiration photo, as well. If you haven't checked out the challenge yet, you should! Always, fun!)

So, here's my card.

Just look at all that white space! ;) Keeping things ultra CAS, for my first card I used three different Waffle Flower stamp sets. For the hearts I used the Bowtiful stamp set, for the line I used the Starry Night stamp set, and for the sentiment I used the Flower Circles stamp set. I lined up my hearts and used Copics Atyou Spica to color them in and then used some glossy accents on top. Oh, I had to have some patience for that! lol Which thankfully, didn't take extremely long because I only used a little but still...the waiting...! After, I added my 'line' underneath the hearts and then my sentiment. Simple, yeah?...

Just a note

Hey y'all! Happy Monday! Today, is a new challenge at Poppy Sketches! And this time we have a fun 'pattern' for you to use! ;)

So, here's my card.

Yep. I chose to go with a slightly smaller card. And to keep things simple. I almost was in a panic, because I wasn't sure if I had anything that was a 'houndstooth' pattern! lol Seriously, how would one recreate a houndstooth pattern, if they didn't have something?!...Anyhow, lucky for me, I didn't have to worry! I found some in my box of scraps! ;) And while I was looking through my box scraps, I found a small piece of black polka dot paper. Which, thought that was meant be. So, along came my card with two pieces of scrap paper and two pieces of wood embellishments. Along, with a little bit of twine and a sweet little sentiment. So, what you think?!...

Be sure to swing on over to Poppy Sketches to see all the DT creations! And while you're there, I hope you'll join us?!!...Our sponsor this time is Gina K. Designs. Which those sweet wood embellishments are from. :)

I LOVE YOU

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday!

Today is a new challenge at CAS on Sunday! And this time it's all about 'embossing'!

Here's my card.

Once again, I'm keeping things very 'clean'. I went with a white base and a white embossed woodgrain strip. To add a little bit of color, I choose some gold cardstock for my arrows and added a little red heart. So, what you think?!...

Be sure to swing on over to CAS on Sunday and see all the DT creations! And I sure hope you'll join us?!!...If so, you have a chance at winning 15$ gift voucher to Create a Smile! How awesome is that?!...Hope to see you there! ;)

get well soon

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday! I can't tell you how happy I am, that tomorrow is Friday! Nothing special going on, just a long crazy week and I'm ready for the weekend! ;)

So, today I'm sharing a card I made for the current Lawnscaping Challenge.

Here's my card.

With so many fun papers, how does one choose what to use?!...lol I chose to use a few different ones because I just couldn't seem to narrow it down to one! ;)

Just short and sweet, today. Thanks for stopping by!

With love

Hey y'all! Happy Monday! :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful WCMD!?!...I made one card and that was it for me. Somehow how I manage to work through, burning up one minute to chills the next, to feeling weak. Needless to say, I've been under the weather. Guess it was only bound to make it's way down the line...my kids are better, but Mom is still isn't 100%. I'm  still going, though! ;)

Anyhow, I'm swinging on in to share a card I made for the current Virginia's View Challenge. And I'd say, it's right up my alley! (along with many others ;))

So, here's my card!

Oh, how I'm loving these little cards, lately! Something about them, just has me wanting to make more and more! ;) I kept things very 'clean' with a lot of white. I added an embossed background. Which I actually did by hand,by scoring lines in different directions. Then I used two different colors of an orange felt for my flowers. And added some light yellow/white twine, with my little tag and sentiment. Simple, yeah?!...

Trick or Treat!

Hey y'all! Happy Friday!!! :) Today is a new challenge at The SRM Challenge! And another fun one it is, perfect for Fall/Halloween...

So, here's my take!

I decided on making a Halloween card. Which normally, I don't make many of those, but I guess I'm in the spirit of things?! ;) This was really a fun card to make! I did some watercoloring, for a 'spooky' feel in the sky. Then after, did a little masking so I could stamp my moon on behind the sky. And to be honest, I was gonna leave my moon just 'basic' but added some twine because...I had a 'mishap'. While I did my masking and stamped my moon, I must have not pressed firmly enough on one side because ACK! it was not stamped all the way! After seeing that, I was ready to start all over again! But then...I thought maybe with some twine and if I angle my bat the right way, you wouldn't be able to tell...And well, I think it worked?! ;)

Be sure to swing on over to The SRM Challenge and see our Guest Designer and DT projects! They're sure to inspire! ;) Hope to see you there!

warm wishes

Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday and Happy October!!! WOW, can you believe we're in October?!!...Seriously, things just seem to go by quicker and quicker! ;)

So, I'm swinging in today, to share a card I made for the current Casology challenge. I totally meant to play with their last challenge, but never made it in time. So, when I saw 'Chocolate' as the cue card, I knew I didn't wanna miss this challenge! ;) I mean, it's chocolate!...Who doesn't love chocolate!?!

Cup of Cocoa, anyone?...

Oooh, I hope y'all aren't getting tired of seeing this Lawn Fawn set?!!...I just can't seem to get enough of it...LOVE it! :) Okay, so I started with my background. Which for that, I used CAS-ual Fridays Stamps 'Naughty or Nice' stamp set. I inked it up with some gold ink, then spritzed it with some water and stamped it on my paper. I did this several times. After, I trimmed it down to the size I wanted. Then, I added my sentiment cup of cocoa. Which for that, I pulled out some Copics again to color my cup. And what made me choose green?...I'm not really sure. I just knew I wanted my cup to have a nice 'pop' to it. ;) To tie everything together, I added a piece of vellum behind my main focus and added some mini staples, along with a row of gold rhinestones. So, there you have it! What you think?!...
